Explosion Proof (EX) Forklifts

Forklift trucks may operate in potentially explosive environments. MLEx can modify the forklift to remove the potential of igniting the atmosphere containing explosive gases or dust.

EX Reach Trucks (stand-on or sit-on)

For greater ability to reach higher loading areas.

EX Counterbalanced Walk-behind Forklifts

The “Walkie” alternative to a sit-down forklift. Our family of counterbalanced walk-behind trucks can do the job of a rider for less. Since these trucks do not have to straddle loads they can easily handle a wide range of load sizes and load or unload trailers.

  • 1,500 to 4,000 lb. capacity, depending on vehicle configuration

EX Straddle Stackers

When the need to move loads is required and a forklift is not readily available, the straddle stacker offers the versatility to move and stack heavy loads with great stability in confined work areas.

  • 2,000 to 6,000 lb. capacity, depending on vehicle configuration

EX Straddle Reach Truck

This vehicle combines the tight turning advantages of a straddle truck with the versatility of a counterbalanced truck. Our walk-behind reach trucks are a great option for side loading trailers doing general material handling, or navigating tight areas with the ability to right angle stack a standard 40 x 48 pallet in as little as a 84” aisle.

  • 2,000 to 3,000 lb. capacity, depending on vehicle configuration
  • Heavy duty pantagraph reach mechanism with 24” of extension

EX Pallet Truck

Our motorized pallet truck is great for facilities that frequently handle loads at ground level.

  • 4,500 lb. capacity
  • 24-volt industrial battery pack
  • Variable speed from 0 to 3 mph

EX Tuggers (walk behind or ride along)

Designed to grasp the load and pull it to a work or storage area that may be in an explosive location, MLEx can modify tuggers to comply with ANSI / NFPA 70 Hazardous Locations standards.

EX Telehandler

The telehandler can move loads that are generally unreachable with the traditional forklift. It resembles a forklift, but with a telescopic boom for greater reach. The end of the boom can be fitted with a variety of attachments. MLEx can modify telehandlers to comply with ANSI / NFPA 70 Hazardous Locations standards.

EX Skid Steers

More commonly known as a Bobcat, skid steers are commonly used in a variety of applications. Front-end attachments offer great flexibility and capability. MLEx can modify skid steers to comply with ANSI / NFPA 70 Hazardous Locations standards.
