Explosion Proof (EX) equipment is frequently used in the manufacture, repair and rebuilding of commercial, recreational and military ships.

Explosion Proof (EX) aerial lifts, forklifts, reach trucks and other EX rated equipment are used in handling hazardous materials, which may cause an explosion if damaged or leaking. Dust and powders often form a cloud or layer that is potentially explosive.
