Explosion Proof (EX) aerial lifts, forklifts, reach trucks and other EX rated equipment are used in processing and storage areas where hazardous materials are produced, handled or used. Flammable substances, such as plastic materials, resins, elastomers, synthetic rubber, man-made and organic fibers can create a vaporous environment posing an especially hazardous condition. Dust and powders often form a cloud or layer that may be explosive.

Aerial lifts, forklifts and reach trucks are used for storing raw or bulk materials feeding production areas and the storage of finished goods.

MLE Explosion Proof equipment has been designed, tested and approved for Class 1, Div 1, Group D service.
