Explosion Proof (EX) aerial lifts, forklifts, reach trucks and other EX rated equipment are used in processing and storage areas where hazardous materials are produced, handled or used. The processing of many ingredients may create areas where flammable substances are mixed or where vapor is present and pose a hazardous condition. Dust and powders may also form an atmosphere that may be explosive.

Aerial lifts, forklifts and reach trucks are used in production areas feeding raw or bulk materials and storage of finished goods.
